Near the end of the book Melinda starts gaining one of her friends back but it never really says if she does or not. I think it would be really hard but if i didn't tell my friends what was going on then it would be in a way my fault for looking them and it would be really hard and i would lean on my family to help me out. This happens a lot in society many people don't talk about things not even with friends so eventually they start to loose them and then dealing with hard times by yourself isn't the best sometimes.
