I think that Melinda was in a tough place to where she didn't know what else to do. I don't know if her friends will forgive her or not, but if they are true friends, no matter what would happen between them, they would always find a way to resolve the situations. She can prove to them that she did it for the good, and she can be there for them in tough situations, hopefully to regain their trust in her.
Great questions, Chase. However, you were supposed to be the Connector and ask your group members to connect personally to what is going on in the story and to connect it to the world. I'm giving you the full points because the questions were great, but just make sure you follow the particular assignment each week. :)
