On page 70-71: When Melinda goes outside to make snow angels because it doesn't feel like Christmas, and she thinks that that is what Heather would do. I think it's strange that she tries to be like Heather, or how she's always looking at Heather for advice. I think she wants to be more like Heather because Heather is now becoming socially accepted in school.
Question: Why do you think Melinda tries to be more and more like Heather?
I think that she is trying to be more like Heather because she wants to be accepted. But she is not being her true self.
